Complementary Global View

i-Websites, Intelligent Websites

………. This concept will change the Websites role. We dear to say that up to now Internet was used at half of its communication power, like classical mass media, Radio, and TV, broadcasting information and knowledge. This broadcast process from Website owners to users could be defined as “Intelli-out”, that is human intelligence flowing from Internet to the users’ side. The advent of i-Websites, starts a complementary Intelli-in process, where the people intelligence could be transferred to the owners’ side, socially going toward a cyber democracy utopia, with a win-win scenario for all, owners and users, sellers and buyers, people who teach versus people who learn, government versus governed. ………………..
Here you see how i-Websites operate. In grey we have i-Website magnified, hosted in the Web space. This i-Website offers a Catalog of “cognitive objects” that could be a Knowledge Map for a given Major Subject, for instance, Computing. All its content was extracted by FIRST, the Expert System, via a Desktop, a sort of cockpit managed by the Chief Editor, a human being. The content extraction was performed in the Major Subject Realm of the Web, for instance a partial Web universe of nearly 40 million documents. Once extracted, this “Human Knowledge Map”, restricted to a Major Subject of the Human Knowledge, is offered to i-Website Potential Major Subject Users’ market. Instead a Map i-Websites could offer Catalogs of Goods, Services, and Commodities.

Along the time the offer suffer the pass of time becoming obsolete if not adequately maintained and updated. Another problem could be the imperfection of the offer itself, not always tuned up with the real demand, what effective and potential users want. To avoid these two drawbacks FIRST needs to “learn” from users as much a possible. Learning will activates FIRST to replace some cognitive objects and to look for new ones in order to fully satisfy its users’ demand. So as in the beginning, FIRST go to the Web continuously to nourish from the vital information.

The advent of i-Websites, starts a complementary Intelli-in process, where the people intelligence could be transferred to the owners’ side, socially going toward a cyber democracy utopia, with a win-win scenario for all, owners and users, sellers and buyers, people who teach versus people who learn, government versus governed..

Let’s see then backwards from this cyber utopia to our actual Web establishment.
This is the same image without the magnification. It shows an i-Wesbite, similar to a classical Website, however indistinguishable for users, but with a sort of intelligent shell and e-membranes. The shell is controlled by FIRST and the e-membranes separate the users’ side from the owners’ side and the owners’ side from the Web resembling cellular bio membranes. Intelligent agents carry messages through the membrane from one to the other side. Let’ see now how the original situation was.
The Website is hosted in the Web serving a users’ market. For sure this Internet resource attracts fewer users than expected because it doesn’t have any tool to know how users behave, what really users want. To make the things worse, in their relative market blindness, the owners have invested in sterile attractions. If these attractions are content oriented and “volatile” they are extremely expensive to maintain and upgrade to keep them alive. I-Websites disentangle the Gordian Knot with a single cut.!
